My Topsy Turvy Dolly, Princess and the Parlour Maid, is a timeless classic that many of us once had in our toy box many years ago.
A dolly such as this can evoke the most inspiring of tales from rags to riches. This dolly could be a party girl by night and the housewife by day, she could be the princess living in a stately home upstairs and downstairs is where the parlour maid resides. So many stories to be told with this dolly and a little imagination.
This Topsy Turvy dolly is the smallest in my collection and the same streamlined process for making her has been incorporated into this design.
As she is two different dolly’s (top-halves) you’ll be able to choose what colour mohair you’d like for each one. Maybe you’ll go for a trendy pink for one end and a plainer bronze for the other end of the doll. With all the 24 looped mohair shades available you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Your Topsy Turvy Dolly can be crafted uniquely to your requirements. When choosing your complete sewing kit, or remake kit, you’ll be given the options to choose what colour skin tone you’d like, along with the mohair colour and the colour of the satin for her princess dress.
