We’re so excited about running these Doll Making Workshops and we can’t wait to meet my like minded doll makers who we’ve come to know and love on our Facebook Group.
Let’s sit and sew together, one stitch at a time and chat endlessly about everything Polly Dolly Doo Dah!
As you can appreciate we have a lot to get through over this 2-day intensive course and we’ll be demonstrating each and every element along the way. You’ll then have the opportunity to replicate what’s been shown, having me right by your side to guide and advise.
On this workshop we’ll be making a Baby Molly Dolly 36cm height.
At this workshop you’ll be supplied with all the doll making components including a pre-made dolls body and the inner head ball. Plus you’ll have the ready made crochet chain for her hair along with stuffing, gauze and wadding, etc.
By the end of Day 2 you’ll marvel at the beautiful creation you’ve made and will be taking home a dolly to cherish.
We’ll have extra items available to purchase on the day such as Molly outfits, nappy and socks.
Other retail items will be available for purchase on the day with a 10% discount especially for you. Nice!
Workshop Timetable
Day One – 9am -6pm
Day Two – 9am – 5pm
A fully sewn doll body and head ball – all stitched and turned.
Wadding, stuffing and gauze. Sewing and tacking threads, linen thread, strong thread and elastic band.
Pre-worked crochet chain for her hair.
Dome button eyes and embroidery thread for the facial features and blusher.
PDF sewing pattern instructions and pattern pieces along with course notes and diagrams.
Certificate of Achievement issued on the day.
….. and last but not least, my expertise to guide you along.
Sewing needles, embroidery thread needle, doll needles, darning needle and pins.
Hemostats (or stuffing tool), dotting tool, small scissors, tweezers and a tape measure.
A note pad and pen, however full course notes are provided.
Your packed lunch and nibbles, refreshments are included.
Enthusiasm, excitement and a lust for learning from an expert doll maker!
For your Doll Skin you can choose between Fair, Peach, Sunkissed, Olive, Russet or a Brown skin tone. Your doll components would have already been cut and stitched together.
And for her hair we’ll be using our Brushable Mohair and you’ll have the choice of Pink, Pearl, Blonde, Bronze, Auburn, Copper, Brunette or Raven.
We’ll bring along a selection of retail products, all with a 10% discount, and you can choose from pre-made dresses, nappy pants ans socks. There will also be other doll making retail items available for you to purchase on the day.
On completion you’ll be awarded our Certificate of Achievement and after the workshop I’ll email you the PDF Sewing Pattern Instructions and Pattern Pieces.

A £100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance of £225 will be due 2 weeks prior to the course start date.
