Head Making 1 Day Workshop
Are You Ready to Join Us?
Does the thought of constructing the head for your Polly Dolly fill you with dread! Well fear not my lovely as we now have a workshop specific for making the most perfect dolly’s head.
We have developed this one-day workshop and centred the tuition around how to firstly construct the head ball efficiently, attach the wadding and gauze and plump the face with additional stuffing, and then apply the linen threads for the most accurate sculpted placement. To finish we’ll add her cute little nose!
At the end of the day you’ll be taking home the most precise dolly head all ready for you to continue with your dolly making venture. And if you’d like to come back on another day to finish the body on your dolly, we can arrange that for you too.
This workshop is a hands-on step-by-step process and you’ll be able to replicate what’s been shown to you, having me right by your side to guide and advise.
There will be retail items available on the day for purchase with a 10% discount especially for you. Nice!
Workshop Timetable 10am – 3pm
The head pack which includes pre-made polycotton ball, gauze, linen and sewing threads, wadding, stuffing and elastic band.
Course notes and diagrams.
Certificate of Achievement issued on the day.

Sewing needles, doll needles, darning needle and pins.
Small scissors, tweezers and tape measure.
A note pad and pen, however full course notes are provided.
Any nibbles to see you through, refreshments are included.

A £50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance of £100 will be due 2 weeks prior to the course start date.
