Does the thought of constructing the head for your Polly Dolly fill you with dread! Well fear not my lovely as we are now running Demo Days whereby you can come along and watch us produce the most perfect dolly’s head.

This session runs for 3 hours and you can sit side by side with us as we take you through all the steps needed for your head making.

You’ll see how the head ball is constructed, stuffed and weighed and how the wadding is attached for correct sizing. Next we’ll be demonstrating the gauze going on and where to place your elastic band for exact and precise placement.

With that done we’ll move onto the string sculpting (everyone’s nemesis) and here you’ll see exactly what it takes to produce the correct head shape with perfect proportions.

Lastly we’ll demo stitching the ridge closed and then onto rolling and attaching the cute little nose and how to snip that into shape.

You’ll go away at the end of session feeling totally inspired and with all the knowledge on how to make your very own, perfectly shaped head for your very own dolly.
