Our small balls of Funky Mohair are ideal for those wanting to add extra hair lengths onto their dolly’s head. A 10mtr ball will provide you with an additional 25 hair strands for Polly, 50 hair strands for Ollie or 30 hair strands for Little Dot.
You can use a 20mtr ball to crochet a chain cap for any of our dolly’s. This is the perfect method to provide an exact match to your hair strands, and will result in you not needing to add so many hair strands resulting in less volume on the head. Plus, being an exact match to the hair strands means that you will have no unsightly gaps when parted into a hairstyle.
So to clarify…. 10mtrs is perfect for adding extra hair strands and 20mtrs (2 balls) is what you’ll need for crocheting the hair chain for the cap.
