Making Tilly’s Arms, Legs, and Body

In this first video tutorial you’ll see how to make and construct Tilly’s cute little shapely legs, arms and body. I’ll be demonstrating two dolly’s being made at once … one with straight limbs and the other with bendable, posable limbs.

You’ll be able to see all the lovely doll skin colours that we have available to you.

Painting Tilly’s Face

It’s here I’ll demonstrate how to paint the most perfect little face for your Tilly Tippy Toes. I’ll also run through all the media items that you’ll need for your painting.

I’ll also show you how to apply Mod Podge for a 3D (optional) effect.

Making Tilly’s Head and Attaching to her Neck

This video tutorial will show you how to make Tilly’s head and attach a cap to give her a fuller head shape at the back. I’ll also demo how to attach her head to her body.

I’ll then demonstrate how to attach the head to her neck and sew in place.

Making the Eyelashes

Ever wondered how to attach false eyelashes to a dolly? Well here I’ll show you how to do just that.

It’s quite a simple process really. Sit back, watch. learn and make.

Tilly’s Weft and Looped Mohair

In this tutorial I’ll show you some different methods for attaching her hair, whether it be a mohair weft or our looped mohair.

In fact, I’ll show you 4 different ways of styling your dolly.

Tilly’s Dress and Frenchies

Tilly has such a sweet little sleeveless dress, and in this video tutorial I’ll show you how to make it along with a pair of adorable satin French knickers.

Finishing your Tilly Tippy Toes

And finally … we’ll finish our Tilly Tippy Toes.

In this video tutorial I’ll show you how to add a dowel into Tilly’s neck for extra durability, then we’ll move on to her cute little glitter feet.

We’ll get her dressed, strengthen her face with colouring pencils and add some blusher.

Your Tilly Tippy Toes is complete.

Pattern Creation

In this hour long video I go through the complete process on how my pattern creations unfold.

Using my original Dear Little Dolly pattern from 2018 I demonstrate just what it takes to bring a dolly to market.

From working out the original doll concept and choosing the fabrics to making many prototypes and finalising the end result.
