Hi, my name is Lesley, I am the creator of The Little House on the Hill Creations, the home of Waldorf Inspired Dolls. They are lovingly created in a little Victorian house located in a rural village in the heart of Lancashire, in the UK.
I personally make each doll with loving care and attention, making sure that every detail is carefully planned and crafted.
I have always loved creating in one form or another for as far back as I can remember. I came across Polly Dolly Doo Dah dolls a few years ago and instantly fell in love with the process of making them, watching them come to life a little bit at a time, at each stage of their creation. I soon became a licensed seller of Polly Dolly so I could start to sell my dolls which I made using the wonderful Polly Dolly Doo Dah pattern.
I take great care and attention in every detail, when designing and creating of each individual Waldorf doll. Each doll and their accessories are made by me, an experienced make. I take pride, love, and care in my work.
All my dolls carry the UKCA/CE mark.

Each of Claire’s Waldorf inspired dolls are made to order, especially for you.
Her bespoke dolls are customised individually, and if you have something in particular you would like her to use such as fabric from a wedding dress, a christening robe or even a dress once worn by someone special then Claire can work her magic. They are ideal for christening and special occasion gifts, and dementia suffers will also benefit from such a tactile little dolly to cherish.
Her Precious Little People are machine and hand sewn, taking many hours of work to create this beautiful and unique gift. Along with the sewing of the outfits Claire also knits all the cardigans and everything is made with love and care. Claire has many years of experience and has been crafting for over 50 years.

Dees Devine Dolls
These gorgeous dolls are made with lots of tender loving care. Ready to be adored by all who receive them.
The design of these dolls is based on the original Waldorf Rag Dolls, which were created to enhance imagination and creativity in the little minds of growing children, along with the Waldorf Education philosophies.
Denise provides a choice of skin tone, hair colour and you can also choose from either a girl, boy or baby dolly. Their hair is created using Mohair Boucle and brushed yarn or Alpaca Boucle and silk brushed yarn and the fabric for your chosen outfit can be made from a treasured item of clothing or selected quality fabric provided by Denise. She’ll also provide many other adorable changes that you can choose from to make your bespoke personalised creation.

Elaine’s Waldorf Inspired Dolls
Elaine makes her dolly’s to order and customers can select the style of outfits that they would like.
She is also able to offer knitted cardigans and jumpers. Your dolly’s clothes can be made out of your own fabric, making your doll a cherished memory. Elaine can also include personalised embroidery to the outfit.

Hi I’m Jill, a nurse, who makes Waldorf inspired dolly’s and their outfits in my spare time.
All my dolls are lovingly created and each one is unique. I use quality doll fabrics and they can be made to order so you can choose your desired skin tone and hair colour.
My dolly outfits are made from cotton fabrics and my knitted items are from top quality wool manufacturers. I have made many hand-knitted cardigans for customers and if knitting items for your dolly is a struggle then please do contact me to see my available range of knitwear.

Hi, my name is Danielle. I am the sole creator of dolly’s and outfits at SewCute Creations.
I’ve always loved teddy bears and rag dolls so decided to have a go making some! I bought a full Polly Kit and then studied the excellent video tutorials ….. and then my first Polly was born.
I fell in love with my Polly immediately as did my (then 8 year old) granddaughter who has her own twin dolls, Max and April, with numerous requested outfits and accessories made on demand by Nani. After popping some photos of Olivia and her dolls on my normal Facebook page, I had a couple of enquiries from friends wanting dolls for their grandchildren so I became a licensed seller and set up my business page SewCute Creations.
My passion is to hand craft bears and dolls that have a special meaning to their new owners. I love making memory items be it from a loved one’s clothes or as a look alike bear/doll which symbolises something special. I also make regular Polly’s, Ollie’s, little dots and Molly’s.
I personally make every individual doll, making sure every detailed is planned and agreed with you and then crafted to the highest standards. I only make one order at once so that you received and experience a very personal and individual service. I’m a stickler for perfection so spend numerous hours learning and developing enhanced techniques. You’re never too good or too old to improve. Even tiny marginal gains can make all the difference.
